What I need to do is take my ACT and SAT before my senior year. I need to do that as soon as possible and I have already found the nearest dates for them, so I will be taking those soon! The nearest time that I am available to take one is in early September and I would be getting my scores back in early October. I am not academically where I need to be, I do not have that great of grades and my GPA is a 2.3 so I need to work extremely hard on my grades. I am going to Navarro Midlothian so that really suits me well and we will see what life has for me then when I am done with that.

The US school system has a lot more opportunities than the country of Ireland. You are a lot more likely to get a good job with the US school system than you are in Ireland. College has a lot more education and economic opportunities for people that live in the US. Ireland did not have nearly as many as economic opportunities than the US.
In my opinion, yes a college degree is necessary and worth the money and time. Mainly because you are way more likely to be successful in life and provide a good lifestyle for your family, (if you decide to have one.) The time and effort you put into a college degree can and most likely will give you a better job than a lot of Americans that don't have a college degree. Some people do not have to have a college degree to be successful. There's a lot of people who don't have a degree in college who are very successful, but you are a lot more likely to get a good paying job and be successful with a degree. Your just better off in life with a college degree, but yes having a college degree is well worth it and is totally necessary.
