Katherine Watson was looked at as a subversive person which means she was a "trouble maker" or a "rebel." Someone may get this idea about Katherine for her willingness to do just about anything she wants and knowing that no one can stop her from doing what she wants or believes in.

Katherine Watson's teachings were labeled as unorthodox because she told her students to give their own opinion about the paintings and sculptures she put up for them. To her, this is no right or wrong answer, it's all about what her students thought about it.

  1. I agree, she definitely wasn't someone who was confined to thinking inside the box. Her views didn't seem to waver either.
